Our Current Staffing

Andre joined the Refugee Law Project as a Community Interpreter in September 2011 after completing the English for Adults Program. His working languages are Kinyarwanda, Kinyabwisha, Kinyamulenge, Kirundi, English, French and Kiswahili. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Arts (African Languages and Literature) from the National University of Rwanda. He has a passion for lexicology, interpretation, translation, human rights, refugee and forced migration issues. He is specifically involved in building the “RLP Community Interpretation Glossary Reference Manual (Kinyarwanda, French and Kiswahili Translations)”
