Access to Justice for Forced Migrants /  28 April 2020 /  3182 views

"The New Me" is a film that shares experiences of forced migrants who have had to go through English language skills training, to better their life while living in Uganda. Through the English for Adults (EFA) program at the Refugee Law Project (RLP), the video demonstrates and highlights the challenges and successes that forced migrants face as a result of language barrier in their host countries of refuge. These inspirational stories, are testimonies of adult refugee learners at RLP who have learned English and have been able to use it in their next level in life. The EFA program is a basic contribution of RLP to the life of Refugees but has had a huge impact in creating social change in their community.
