"Refugees and host communities together against sexual slavery and exploitation". The campaign to solicit community support and involvement in ending the increasing sexual slavery and exploitation among refugee communities in Uganda was staged during the annual Refugee Law Project's Sexual and Gender Based Violence and Persecution (SGBV/P) awareness campaign week. The events included communities marching through the streets of Kampala with advocacy messages, workshops targeting refugee women and men, round table advocacy discussions with various civil society organisations and government departments, concluded with community dialogues. This short video brings out the summary of all the events that happened during the awareness week. Watch this!
