Andrew Simbo
Was Programme Manager, Kitgum Peace Documentation Center - Andrew is a Development and Human Rights specialist and has had vast experience studying and working in Sierra Leone, Kenya, Tanzania, Liberia and Zambia. He also visited The Hague in the Netherlands in 2009 to observe the Charles Taylor Trial. He worked inter alia as a United Nations Volunteer in Tanzania, did War Crimes documentation work for the American Bar Association (ABA) and was the ICRC focal person for organizing annual moot court completion for Tertiary students in Sierra Leone. His last assignments were to serve, for the past 10 years, in the Outreach Sections of both No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ) and the UN backed Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL)
