Patrick Otim
Video Advocacy Officer - Patrick holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass communication and a Diploma in Computer Science and Information Technology. He joined the RLP in October 2006 as a Data Management Officer. He attended a 2-weeks intensive training in Video Advocacy in Concordia University - Canada. It is from this point that the Video Unit can be marked to have started at the RLP. A new advocacy tool through filming took shape to compliment the famous RLP working papers, which has seen the production of numerous in-house documentaries to date. This development has seen Patrick play a central role in most of RLP documentaries including the 2009 award winner at the Kenya International Film Festival - "Gender Against Men". He currently has a full-length film to his name titled "We Died Long Time Ago".
