"What About Us?" - Urban IDPs Ask (Shorter Version) :
"What About Us?" (shorter version) is a 7-minutes advocacy video about displaced Acholi people that fled northern Uganda in the course of the 22-year insurgency by the Lord′s Resistance Army and found themselves struggling to survive in the slums of the nation′s capital, KAMPALA and other urban centres.
These displaced Acholi share their stories, their feelings on being treated as foreigners in their own country, and their hopes of returning home to northern Uganda despite the return to armed conflict. The video further addresses the inability of government and humanitarian agencies to design interventions for those displaced to urban areas.
