Operations and Programme Support
Operations and Programme Support is a support programme of the Refugee Law Project that all the other programmes ride on. It provides technical, financial, monitoring and practical support functions that enables the other four thematic programmes operate. Below are the distinctive units within the programme.
Assessment, Intake And Community Interpretation Unit
This unit is probably RLP's largest unit that generally interacts with clients on a daily basis through both Assessment and In-take sessions. Since most of these interactions come with a linguistic challenge, due to the diversity of languages our clients are accustomed to, the Community Interpreters offer the interpretation component in general assessment and intake of clients
Finance & Grants Units
This unit is vital in the management of all RLP's finances as well as securing new grants for projects.
Human Resource Unit
This unit oversees RLP staff recruitment and welfare.
